Qualified Care Worker in Schönwald, full-time or part-time position

Evangelische Altenhilfe St. Georgen gGmbH is currently looking for qualified care workers at its facilities. Are you a qualified care worker who has completed recognised training in healthcare, geriatric care or paediatric care? Apply to work with us!

Your main responsibility in this job role will be to provide basic care and deliver treatment. Your other tasks will include administering medication as well as supervising and performing a range of medical and care duties. You will need to be confident about communicating with relatives, colleagues and representatives of other departments.

• Proof of completed training to become a care worker (in geriatric care or healthcare)
• Experience driving wheelchair accessible vehicles is a plus
• Full driving licence (Class B)

• Caring for and supporting our residents
• Managing and monitoring residents’ documentation
• Providing nursing care and treatment
• Promoting an active lifestyle for the residents
• Advising and communicating with residents, relatives and doctors
• Planning, coordinating and organising staff schedules
• Administering medication
• Implementing professional standards

Working hours

5.5 working days in a week divided into shifts including at the weekends and on bank holidays
